Welcome to JARCOM National Staff Virtual Network!

On 22 March 2005, JICA's National Staff Virtual Network was born. The network members consist of 2 representatives from each of the ten (10) JICA overseas Offices in ASEAN: Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor Leste and Vietnam.

The network link was first facilitated by Malaysia and Thailand, when it coordinated the 1st National Staff meeting in Hanoi (4th JARCOM), with the support and assistance of all members. The members are confident that this network is the most effective means of communication among working staff in disseminating share-support information and in linking JICA overseas offices, in order to assist each other in their daily work related to regional cooperation, especially for JARCOM.

Membership

Members of the JARCOM National Staff Virtual Network consist mainly of national staff in-charge of regional cooperation programmes in JICA overseas offices of 9 JARCOM member countries and an observer country. Membership is also open to Japanese staff involved in JARCOM-related activities.
